That was Roy’s 12th dismissal to legspin in 27 innings – in that time he has scored 190 runs against them at a strike rate of roughly 126.Russell’s pace and bounce did for Shreyas Iyer, who fended a rising delivery to slip, and when Gautam Gambhir chopped on against Shivam Mavi, Daredevils had lost a wicket in each of their first three overs.With no option but to keep playing their shots, Pant and Maxwell kept the game alive for a little longer, but with such a large chunk of Daredevils’ resources already depleted, it was a matter of time before Knight Riders would reassert their dominance. Algo que, se ainda não era o ideal pelo pequeno aproveitamento em relação a bolas que iam efetivamente no gol de Matheus Mendes, ao menos faziam com que o volume de jogo do CSA diminuísse consideravelmente, deixando a partida mais perto do gol dos visitantes do que o contrário.

Com o time da casa em dificuldades para acertar o alvo e os visitantes mais preocupados em proteger sua retaguarda do que conseguindo sair em contra-ataques ameaçadores, a partida seguiu em ritmo mais morno do que na primeira etapa até o apito final.

As per the report, the Red Devils are assessing an approach for Onana as an alternative for top target Sofyan Amrabat, due to Juventus preparing to challenge the club for the signing of the Moroccan midfielder.

How good is Amadou Onana?

There is no doubt that Erik ten Hag will be keen to get business wrapped up as soon as possible, with Man United playing their Premier League opener against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.

It is no secret that the Dutch coach has his sights set on snapping up the services of Amrabat, however, should that not be an option it will be important to identify alternatives who possess the profile, experience and quality to match what Ten Hag needs in the role.

The Sky Blues and Pep Guardiola have already added to their treble-winning squad this summer by bringing in Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea in a deal worth a total of £30m.

However, Ilkay Gundogan, who played a key role in City’s success last season with two goals in the FA Cup final, has decided to join Barcelona on a free transfer after his contract expired at the Etihad.

Therefore, it looks as if Kovacic will fill the void left by Gundogan ahead of the 2023/24 season, but more new faces could arrive before the window shuts on September 1.

Fellow Croatia international, Josko Gvardiol, has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester, with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano even claiming on Wednesday that the RB Leipzig man had even completed the first part of a City medical.

According to The Daily Mail, Wolves are keen to land Kelleher this summer, though any deal to sign the Republic of Ireland international would cost in the region of £20 million.

First-team openings have been hard to come by for the 24-year-old behind Alisson and it is now believed that he is ready to strike out on his own and leave Liverpool to try and gain senior involvement as a number-one goalkeeper elsewhere.

Nottingham Forest have turned their attention towards Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa and have identified the Portuguese stopper and Manchester United backup goalkeeper Dean Henderson as targets to strengthen their last line of defence, as per Telegraph Sport.

Developing through the ranks of Paris Saint Germain’s academy, the 24-year-old winger made his mark in Europe after signing for Leverkusen in 2019.

Deployed primarily as a right-winger, Diaby has the capabilities to be played on the opposite flank as well as through the middle as a striker, however, he provides a more potent threat on goal on the right as a left-footed player.

All three T20s will be played at Warner Park in St Kitts, beginning from June 2. The ODIs, all of which will be played at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia, will begin a week later, on June 9.The tour’s original schedule included five ODIs and three T20Is. This series will also be Afghanistan’s first full series against a Full Member other than Zimbabwe.”It will also be an important series for our side,” Roland Holder, WICB Manager of Cricket Operations, said, “as they look to move up in the ICC World Rankings in the two formats, and continue their quest to qualify for the 2019 ICC World Cup in England and Wales.”West Indies are currently placed ninth in the ODI rankings, followed by Afghanistan. West Indies will be hoping to climb up the rankings as only the top eight teams as of September end this year will gain automatic qualification for the 2019 World Cup. They lost their last ODI series 3-0 to England earlier this month and have three more coming up against Pakistan in April.West Indies and Afghanistan have never played an ODI against each other and the last time they squared up in a T20I, Afghanistan won by six runs, in a league match in the World T20 last year.The upcoming three T20Is will start at 7pm and the day-night ODIs will start at 2.30 pm.
