O Técnico de Segurança Rogério Ferreira, falou sobre as principais causas de incêndio, instruções sobre como proceder, identificação dos tipos de extintores, entre outros tópicos. Na ocasião, os atletas também aproveitaram para tirar dúvidas sobre situações de emergências.

– Buscamos trazer conhecimento de nossas técnicas e procedimento contra incêndios. Acreditamos que essas informações são de extrema importância não só para os atletas, mas para a formação de todas as pessoas – disse o técnico.

Na sequência, Júlio Gonçalves, Enfermeiro do Trabalho, falou sobre os primeiros socorros e cuidados que podem e devem ser tomados no caso de possíveis acidentes. O enfermeiro também contou sobre as experiencias que já teve e ocasiões em que os primeiros socorros salvaram vidas. Além disso, também fez demonstrações sobre o uso de aparelhos e técnicas que são utilizadas em emergências.

– Avaliamos essas lições como de extrema necessidade para a saúde de todos, de um modo geral. Tivemos toda uma ação de prevenção em agravos de incêndio, e outras situações, para que, se necessário, todos tenham a noção do que fazer e não fazer. Foi bem legal e dinâmico, acredito que pela nossa interação, todos aprenderam bastante. Queremos que eles levem isso para a vida – comentou o enfermeiro.

No período da tarde, no Jorjão, o Brigadista Everton Rogério Gomes e o Técnico de Segurança Rogério Ferreira realizaram o treinamento prático para os jogadores, onde todos tiveram a oportunidade de conhecer e executar os procedimentos mais importantes em casos de incêndio: como usar os modelos de extintores, acionar e identificar o alarme de incêndio, como ativar e manusear o hidrante, entre outros.

José Leandro, zagueiro da equipe sub-20, participou do treinamento e avaliou.

– Muito bacana essa oportunidade que o clube está nos proporcionando. Esperamos que nunca seja necessário, mas caso aconteça, com tudo o que aprendemos hoje, teremos conhecimento para ajudar, nos proteger e até salvar vidas. Tiramos nossas dúvidas e vimos na prática que pequenas atitudes, podem fazer toda a diferença em situações de risco – finalizou.

The BCCI’s working committee meeting today in Delhi will be crucial in determining whether N Srinivasan is restored to his office as board president or whether he will remain on the sidelines in the wake of his son-in-law’s arrest in the IPL’s betting and spot-fixing scandal.The meeting, which will be preceded by an IPL governing council meeting, was originally supposed to have Srinivasan re-take control of the BCCI’s affairs after the two-member independent probe panel cleared the owners of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, as well as Royals co-owner Raj Kundra, of any wrong doing with regards to betting and spot-fixing in IPL 2013. Srinivasan had announced his decision to attend his first working committee in two months.However, two days after the working committee passed the former judges’ report to the governing council, the Bombay High Court termed the probe panel “illegal and unconstitutional”. The order was a setback not only for Srinivasan’s return but also to the already diminished public image of the BCCI. Following the court’s ruling some BCCI officials such as Niranjan Shah, who has managed to be on the right side of the power equation year after year, called for a fresh inquiry panel to be appointed.However, as has been the case with BCCI politics over the years, it won’t be surprising if the voices making their unhappiness public ahead of a crucial meeting end up being silent during the meeting.Despite the court’s ruling, Srinivasan reached New Delhi for the meeting and can resume office as BCCI president any time. However, a section of the board, including some staunch Srinivasan supporters, is of the opinion that his return as the face of the BCCI won’t do its image any good.If Srinivasan’s supporters convince him not to preside over the meeting and only attend it as a Tamil Nadu Cricket Association representative, it will be a rare incident of a BCCI president attending but not chairing the meeting. In such a scenario, Jagmohan Dalmiya, who has been looking after the board’s affairs for the last two months, will continue to preside over the meeting.Another point of interest will be to see who chairs the IPL governing council meeting, which will recommend the future course of action to the working committee with regard to the probe report. After Rajiv Shukla’s resignation as IPL chairman, the BCCI has not appointed his successor. While Dalmiya said last week that Shukla’s resignation had not been accepted, according to the BCCI website Shukla had been replaced with Arun Jaitley, leader of the principal opposition in Indian politics, in the list of governing council members.

Sri Lanka Cricket will begin its search for a new national coach, after Graham Ford maintained that he will walk away from the job when his contract expires in January.Ford had indicated last week to the board he would not be renewing his contract, but SLC asked him to reconsider that decision on Friday, even suggesting changes to his working conditions, that might make the job more agreeable to him. Ford has not changed his mind however, after having consulted with his family, whom he cites as the reason for leaving the job.”The National Coach has indicated to SLC of his unavailability to continue with SLC after his contract expires in January 2014,” SLC said in a statement. “He has taken this decision consequent to the discussions he had with his family on the options given by SLC.”Ford had been linked to the vacant coaching position at Surrey, and had even been approached by Surrey’s CEO, but that approach has not yet firmed into an offer. The lure of the position at Surrey is not understood to have influenced Ford’s decision to leave the Sri Lanka job.Ford took over for two years after Geoff Marsh was sacked in January 2012, and has had mild success in his time with the side. Sri Lanka won their first Test series in almost three years and progressed to the final of the World Twenty20 during his tenure, but also lost a Test series 3-0 in Australia.The timing of Ford’s departure has come at an inconvenient time for Sri Lanka, who are preparing for the departure of their senior batsmen Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene and Tillakaratne Dilshan. North Zone resumed on 33 for 0 against East Zone and reached 329 for 2 by stumps, openers Jiwanjot Singh and Chand the men to be dismissed.While Jiwanjot could not make the most of a patient start and fell to Ashok Dinda for 24, Chand kicked on to make 116. Na próxima fase, o time de Renato Gaúcho e cia mede forças com o São Luiz. O primeiro jogo é fora e o segundo na Arena.

O jogo

Com uma larga vantagem obtida no primeiro jogo, o Grêmio surpreendeu ao colocar força máxima na Arena. Porém, o Tricolor não forçou o jogo em momento algum. Sem sair da característica, a equipe gremista trocava passes e só chegou ao gol de Carné em chute de fora da área.

Por outro lado, o Juventude mantinha uma postura mais defensiva e apostava nos contra-ataques. Em um deles, Braian Rodríguez invadiu a grande área e soltou a bomba por cima do gol.

Os únicos bons momentos do Tricolor vieram com Maicon e Montoya. Nas duas ocasiões, bem colocado, Marcelo Carné evitou o gol com defesas difíceis.

No segundo tempo o ritmo do jogo permaneceu o mesmo. O Grêmio tinha a posse de bola e rondava a grande área jaconera. Aos 16, Luan deu belo passe para Tardelli que estufou as redes, mas a bandeira Luiza Reis assinalou impedimento de maneira errada, pois o zagueiro do Juventude dava condições ao atacante gremista.

Se o Tricolor pouco chegava, o Juventude resolveu se arriscar. Em lance individual, Rafael Jataí avançou pelo meio de campo, chegou a intermediária sem marcação e soltou a bomba. A bola passou rente a trave de Júlio e saiu pela linha de fundo.

No fim, os dois times administraram o tempo e o Grêmio apenas esperou o apito do árbitro para comemorar a vaga na semifinal.
