A terceira passagem de Luiz Felipe Scolari pelo Palmeiras começa neste domingo, às 16h, contra o América-MG, no estádio Independência. A nova etapa do “Scolarismo” no Verdão vem com a defesa de recordes do treinador, o segundo com mais partidas à frente do time (408).

No retrospecto geral, ele perde apenas para Oswaldo Brandão, que trabalhou em 585 partidas. Mas ao filtrar os números por competições, Felipão lidera: ele é quem treinou o Palmeiras mais vezes no Brasileiro (166 vezes), na Libertadores (28) e Copa do Brasil (44).

Estes são os três torneios que o comandante terá até o fim do ano. O único que não ganhou pelo Verdão foi o Brasileiro – chegou ao vice-campeonato em 1997. O título da Libertadores é seu maior feito, em 1999, e ele ainda é bicampeão da Copa do Brasil pelo Palmeiras, com as conquistas de 1998 e 2012.

O retrospecto geral de Scolari pelo clube é de 192 vitórias, 111 empates e 105 derrotas. Levando em conta apenas o Brasileiro, são 61 vitórias, 55 empates e 50 derrotas. Apesar do histórico copeiro no Verdão, o técnico já disse que quer brigar por todas as competições – no campeonato nacional, o time está distante da briga pela liderança.

Na parte I do Scolarismo, Felipão tinha 48 anos e vinha com a responsabilidade de fazer o Verdão ganhar a Libertadores – esta foi uma de quatro taças que ele levantou entre 1997 e 2000, além das históricas eliminações em cima do Corinthians nas Libertadores de 1999 e 2000. A derrota para o Manchester United (ING) no Mundial é uma das dores da passagem que o tornou ídolo, muito também por seu jeito, que logo gerou empatia com a torcida.

Depois de conquistar a Copa do Mundo de 2002 com a Seleção Brasileira, fazer seu nome em Portugal e até ter até uma passagem pelo Chelsea (ING), voltou para a parte II de sua história no Palmeiras, aos 61 anos. Mesmo num ambiente político conturbado e pouco dinheiro, ficou dois anos no cargo e foi campeão da Copa do Brasil. Acabou saindo meses depois, com o time afundado na zona de rebaixamento – a queda se confirmou mesmo com a troca de comando.

Agora, o terceiro capítulo do Scolarismo começa com o técnico aos 69 anos, mais questionado no país por conta dos 7 a 1 sofridos com a Seleção na Copa do Mundo de 2014, mas com um Palmeiras muito mais forte. Na China, tornou-se ídolo com sete títulos dos 11 que disputou pelo Guangzhou Evergrande. Em sua volta para casa, como tratou a Academia de Futebol, Felipão mostra-se motivado para solidificar ainda mais sua história no Verdão.

وتقام بطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية 2023، على أرض مصر خلال الفترة من 19 فبراير وحتى 11 مارس المُقبل.

ويتواجد منتخبا الكونغو وإفريقيا الوسطى في المجموعة الثانية رفقة جنوب السودان وأوغندا.

وقال الكومي في تصريحات تليفزيونية عبر قناة “صدى البلد”: “المردود غير طيب حتى الآن لمنتخب مصر للشبابـ،، لكن الأمل ما زال قائمًا والكرة في الملعب، وهذا ما أكدناه لمنتخبنا في تدريب اليوم”.

وواصل: “الهجمة الشرسة على الجهاز الفني والبطولة ما زالت في الملعب شيء غير منطقي بالمرة”.

وأوضح: “اللاعبون لديهم إصرار على الفوز بعد الموقف الذي وضعوا أنفسهم فيه، ونستطيع العبور في مباراة السنغال، ما يحدث من تصريحات تسيء للمدير الفني وللجهاز الفني غير جيد بالمرة”.

Diego Souza marcou um gol pelo São Paulo em seu primeiro reencontro com o Sport e foi um dos principais responsáveis pela oitava derrota dos pernambucanos no Campeonato Brasileiro, neste domingo. Mesmo assim, recebeu aplausos da torcida na Ilha do Retiro.

Diego jogou no clube pernambucano de 2014 a 2017, com uma breve saída para o Fluminense em 2016, e é ídolo de boa parte dos rubro-negros. Ele não comemorou o gol que abriu caminho para os 3 a 1 do Tricolor e, depois, ainda fez uma reverência ao goleiro e amigo Magrão. No intervalo, chorou ao dar entrevista ao Premiere:

After Kevin O’Brien returned home from the 2011 World Cup, a tournament that featured his heroic 50-ball hundred (the fastest in World Cup history) that shocked England on a balmy evening in Bangalore, one of the first calls he received was from the Cricket Ireland bosses. They wanted to let him know that one of the IPL teams, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, had asked if O’Brien could be signed up as a reserve player. “Unfortunately, since I was not part of the initial auction last year, I could not sign up. That was a little disappointing,” O’Brien told ESPNcricinfo. This year, when the IPL opened the window for players to register on the auction list, he did not think twice.What makes O’Brien’s case unique is that among the 144 names on the final list, he is one of only three players representing the Associate countries at the auction. His elder brother, Niall, and Tom Cooper, who plays for Netherlands, are the other Associate players in the auction that will be held on February 4 in Bangalore.”That last year’s performance against England would be hopefully high up on the mind of the bidders come Saturday,” O’Brien said of what he hoped for at the auction. That knock would not be looked upon as a freak innings was made certain by O’Brien: he was signed up by Gloucestershire soon after the World Cup and, last June, playing in the Friends Life t20 match against Middlesex in Uxbridge, O’Brien slammed a 44-ball century, the fastest in domestic Twenty20.The few thousands who were present on the day were in for a double treat. The public will surely have a huge interest in the IPL, if one of us is playing in it.”Cricket, O’Brien said, has been getting bigger in the country since 2007, when Ireland beat Pakistan in the World Cup. Last year’s victory over England has raised the popularity levels of the sport even further. “A lot more people are talking about cricket on the streets,” he said. “A lot more people are coming to our games.”In the four previous IPL seasons, there had been only one player from the Associates to play in the IPL: Ryan ten Doeschate, who plays for Netherlands. Despite not having played regularly with the top-bracket teams, O’Brian felt that all three Associate players in the reckoning this year had played enough competitive cricket to stand up to anyone on the international stage. “Niall has been playing county cricket for twelve years now; Tom Cooper plays first-class cricket in Australia; I have played country cricket for Gloucestershire and previously with Nottinghamshire. So we all have got experience.”O’Brien, who was recently appointed the vice-captain of the Ireland team, decided to skip the Bangladesh Premier League [BPL], even if there was healthy interest in him from the franchises. In fact, Niall was signed by Khulna Royal Bengal for US $80,000. “Unfortunately it [the BPL] clashes with the 2015 World Cup qualifying matches in Kenya, and then qualifiers for the World Twenty20 in March,” O’Brien said. “Hopefully I will be there next year. My contract with Cricket Ireland comes first and everything else next.”As far as the franchises’ interest in him goes, O’Brien could remain optimistic. “He is a good pick. A value for money one, in the way ten Doeschate was for Kolkata Knight Riders,” a franchise official said. ten Doeschate, the 2011 ICC Associate and Affiliate Player of the Year (he picked up the award three times in the last four years) was bought by Knight Riders for $150,000, after having his base price set at $50,000.”Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of players with his [O’Brien’] type of skills. [But] There is no doubt he is a quality player,” said a coach from another franchise. “He and his brother are good players and franchises will definitely consider them during the bidding.” Asked if O’Brien had catapulted himself into the minds of the potential bidders solely on the back of his match-winning performance against England, the coach did not agree. “He is a good hitter of the ball and we have seen it for a while now,” he said.Small wonder then, the O’Brien brothers have planned to spend this weekend together, waiting to see whether either or both of them have earned their IPL ticket. “Niall is coming over on the weekend and we are going to follow the auction on the internet,” O’Brien said. “It is going to be a nervous morning.”

Como era esperado, o Conselho Deliberativo do Palmeiras aprovou na noite desta segunda-feira os aditivos nos contratos de aporte financeiro da Crefisa para contratação de jogadores. 225 de 278 conselheiros compareceram à reunião, com 141 votos a favor dos aditamentos nos documentos, 67 abstenções, além de 17 que deixaram o local.

Isto significa que o CD considera serem legais as alterações que transformaram os R$ 120 milhões gastos pela Crefisa/FAM de patrocínio em empréstimo. O Verdão terá obrigação de devolver toda a quantia à patrocinadora, com baixa taxa de juros, baseada no CDI.

O Conselho de Orientação e Fiscalização (COF) é contra a forma como foram feitos os aditivos, sem comunicação prévia ao órgão, que teme ser um acordo danoso ao futuro do clube. A diretoria, por sua vez, considera que esta é a melhor saída, já que a Crefisa foi multada pela Receita Federal por conta destes contratos antes vistos como patrocínio e teria de ocorrer a mudança.

O resultado é mais uma vitória de Maurício Galiotte, atual presidente, e Leila Pereira, conselheira e patrocinadora – do outro lado, havia diferentes grupos, ligados a ex-presidentes como Mustafá Contursi, Affonso Della Monica, Arnaldo Tirone e Paulo Nobre.

Leila e Maurício concordaram com os aditamentos e vinham tentando combater as críticas da oposição. O pedido da reunião desta segunda, inclusive, partiu do mandatário, que tem junto da patrocinadora a maioria do CD.

O COF recusou os balancetes dos três primeiros meses, por conta dos aditivos. Galiotte temia que o cenário perdurasse pelo restante do ano, ainda que o clube tenha dado mostras de recuperação financeira após um déficit no começo de 2018 pela entrada dessa dívida com a Crefisa nos documentos.

A diretoria espera que com a chancela do CD, órgão soberano no clube, os problemas com o COF se resolvam. Os cofistas, por sua vez, mantêm a posição de que a alteração contratual teve problemas e alguns vícios no processo. As recusas ao balancete do COF não têm efeito prático, já que ao término do ano o balanço, incluindo os 12 meses, é votado pelo Conselho Deliberativo.

Shane Watson will happily return to Australia’s Test team as a No. 3 batsman, having reasoned that he is no longer in a position to demand the opening spot he vacated due to injury in 2011.Since Watson fell prey to hamstring and calf injuries, the contrasting David Warner and Ed Cowan have begun a fledgling top order partnership that shows all the signs of developing into a fruitful union. They are now set to resume opening duties in the Caribbean, as Watson slips into the No. 3 spot vacated by an under-performing Shaun Marsh.A year ago Watson could have named his place – and his price – in an Australian team struggling to find successful practitioners in most positions. However now the team led by Michael Clarke has completed a successful home summer without him, Watson said he was grateful to have any kind of place in the team, and would have no qualms about walking out at No. 3.”I’m happy to play anywhere to be honest after sitting out all the summer and seeing how successful the Test team was, there’s no doubt that I’d love to fit in wherever I possibly can,” Watson said in St Vincent. “I have really enjoyed opening the batting in Test cricket and all forms of the game, but in the end batting at No. 3 you’re still certainly in the engine room with a newer ball potentially.”So I’m happy to try and compliment the team wherever I possibly can, because it has been an extremely exciting and successful Test summer and I’d love to be a part of that.”Watson was given the first hint of his future position when he returned to the ODI XI at No. 3 during the home triangular series. He may yet return to opening in the West Indies in limited overs formats, as he and the coach Mickey Arthur formulate the best plan to attack the hosts.”That’s where I finished up this summer, batting at No. 3, and what we’re working through at the moment is what’s going to be the best balance for our batting line-up, not just with me but with the other guys we’ve got at our disposal as well,” Watson said. “So that’s what we’re talking through at the moment, what’s going to be the best balance and what we think the West Indies are going to throw at us as well.”Australia’s reduced reliance on senior players has been part of the coaching and selection strategy across the summer, which Arthur said had been geared at building a squad of about 22 players capable of stepping into action at any given moment. I’m very confident that every player who steps up now to the side has had the opportunity and knows what is expected of him, so it has been a pretty successful summer in that regard.”The West Indian team, led by Darren Sammy, can call on a strong record at the Arnos Vale Ground for confidence ahead of their first meeting with Watson’s team. Sammy has enjoyed two of his better international displays at the venue, 4 for 26 in an ODI against Zimbabwe in 2010, and 5 for 70 against Bangladesh in a Test in 2009.”So far St Vincent has been a very good ground for us, as a West Indies team we always get results in our favour here, and for me personally it is a happy hunting ground,” Sammy said. “The last three games we’ve played here we won all three, so obviously what happened against India and Pakistan we’re looking to repeat that and start this series off on a winning note.”We know we’re playing Australia and we’re not going to go out and play names, we’re just going to play good, positive cricket, and hopefully we can come out on top.”

O trabalho da comissão técnica de Luiz Felipe Scolari é feito em duas frentes no Palmeiras: além da parte técnica e tática, há o cuidado com o vestiário. É comum acompanhar entrevistas dos atletas citando a “família” criada no clube.

Com bons resultados nessas pontas, o Palmeiras vai batendo jogo a jogo um teste diferente e a desconfiança que se existia ao anunciar a volta de Scolari. Com ele, são sete vitórias, dois empates e uma derrota. Isto usando 24 dos 28 jogadores no elenco, tendo duas equipes diferentes, jogando dois torneios de mata-mata e o Brasileiro, em que agora está a três pontos do líder.

Há pouco a se contestar no trabalho até agora. A solidez defensiva é uma melhoria importante, porque mesmo em jogos que a atuação não é boa, como foi o primeiro tempo contra o Furacão, o time também sofre pouco e consequentemente não precisa remar tanto para vencer – mesmo diante da boa equipe paranaense, Fernando Prass teve pouco trabalho. Com Felipão, foram apenas dois gols sofridos nesses dez jogos.

O principal ponto no jogo de quarta era conseguir se desvencilhar da boa marcação imposta pelo Atlético-PR no primeiro tempo, que não deixava o Palmeiras sair jogando desde sua zaga. A entrada de Bruno Henrique na vaga de Thiago Santos foi um ganho neste sentido.

Mais no campo de ataque após o intervalo, o Verdão começou a encontrar espaços e ainda contou com mais uma boa atuação de Deyverson para iniciar uma vitória que poderia ter sido encaminhada antes, se Borja não tentasse um voleio quando poderia dominar livre na área, ou se Willian, autor do primeiro gol, não tivesse perdido outra chance cara a cara. Teve tempo até para Moisés encerrar a sequência de quatro pênaltis perdidos do elenco e fechar o 2 a 0.

Com Felipão, o Palmeiras já enfrentou time de meio de tabela, ameaçada por rebaixamento, postulante ao título, em ascensão, avançou na Libertadores e na Copa do Brasil, e é a única equipe no Brasil que briga pelo título brasileiro e pelos dois torneios de mata-mata.
