The difference? Well, in the view of Slot, it could be the lack of a suitable supplier from the flanks, with the Dutch coach pointing to the fruitful partnership that Isak enjoyed with Jacob Murphy at St James’ Park.
As per Transfermarkt, Murphy assisted his free-scoring colleague 11 times in all competitions for the Tynesiders, with the unsung hero offering a reliable source of creativity from his right-wing berth.

Yes, according to a recent report from Spain, Chelsea are one of a few Premier League clubs interested in the RC Strasbourg striker.
Alongside the West Londoners, the report has revealed that West Ham United and Aston Villa have set their sights on the Argentine striker.
The report does not reveal how much the £28k-per-week star might cost, but considering his contract runs until the summer of 2030, he’s unlikely to be cheap.
Even so, Chelsea should do what they can to sign Panichelli, as he could be the striker to really take them forward, even if that’s bad news for Delap.
How Panichelli compares to Delap
Now it might sound simplistic, and that’s because it is, but the first and most important metric to compare when looking at two strikers is output.
Unfortunately for Delap, this is an area that Panichelli has him beat, and comfortably at that.
For example, so far this season, the Argentine, whom U23 scout Antonio Mango has dubbed “one of the most in-form Strikers in Europe,” has scored ten goals in 19 appearances, totalling 1367 minutes.
In other words, the Córdoba-born gem is averaging a goal involvement every 1.9 games, or every 136.7 minutes.
In stark contrast, the Blues’ summer signing has scored just a single goal in 11 appearances, totalling 453 minutes.

The next advantage that the former Deportivo Alavés star has over the Englishman is the fact that he seems to be less injury-prone.
For example, while he did suffer a significant ACL injury in the 23/24 season, which kept him out for 24 games, he only missed one game in the entirety of last season, and so far this year, he’s missed just one.
On the other hand, the former Ipswich Town star suffered a knee injury that kept him out for 18 games in 23/24
Furthermore, so far this year, he has already missed 12 matches due to a hamstring problem, and now his current shoulder injury.
Finally, the Winchester-born ace doesn’t even have the advantage of being significantly younger and therefore possessing a higher ceiling, as he’s currently 22 years old and the Strasbourg star only turned 23 two months ago.
Ultimately, Panichelli is clearly a more dangerous forward and, on top of that, seems to be injured less often. Therefore, Chelsea should do what they can to sign him in 2026, even if that spells the end of Delap’s time at Stamford Bridge.

ثم فجّر ميدو مفاجأة مدوية بقوله: “أكبر قضية تلاعب بنتائج المباريات في تاريخ بلجيكا، المعروفة بـ(القضية صفر)، والتي هزّت الكرة الأوروبية بالكامل، تم توجيه الاتهام فيها لـ58 شخصًا بين رؤساء أندية وحكام. وواحد من المتهمين في القضية كان هو يانيك فيريرا أثناء تدريبه لنادي ميخلين البلجيكي”.
واختتم: “واحدة من أسباب رحيل فيريرا المبكر عن الزمالك قبل السوبر، هي معرفة مجلس الإدارة بهذه القضية، وأنه أحد الأشخاص الذين وُجّهت لهم اتهامات رسمية”.

James Anderson will be taking on a new responsibility in his 44th year next summer, after being appointed as Lancashire’s full-time captain for their County Championship campaign.Anderson, 43, stepped in as an interim captain on two occasions during Lancashire’s 2025 campaign, but has now been named as their permanent four-day captain, following the resignation of Keaton Jennings in May last year.Despite retiring from Test cricket in July 2024 with an England record 704 Test wickets to his name, and subsequently being conferred a knighthood, Anderson has shown no sign of winding up a Lancashire career that began as a teenager in 2002. In last year’s Championship campaign, he claimed 17 first-class wickets at 25.94 in six appearances.Jennings will stay on as captain for the Vitality Blast – a format in which Anderson excelled in 2025, claiming 20 wickets at 16.10 in the club’s progression to Finals Day – while Josh Bohannon will remain as the club vice-captain following his appointment to the role in 2024.”Captaining Lancashire for the first time last season was a huge privilege, and I’m honoured to take on the role full-time heading into the new season,” Anderson said.”We’ve got a fantastic group of players, a great blend of youth and experience, and I’m excited about what we can achieve together with promotion back to Division One our number one priority.”Lancashire’s disappointing Championship season in 2025 created significant upheaval within the club, with head coach Dale Benkenstein also paying the price for their failure to push for a return to the top flight.Steven Croft, the Lancashire veteran who retired at the end of 2024, was subsequently appointed as head coach, and has invested his faith in his long-term former team-mate.”I’m grateful for the support from Crofty, and from my teammates,” Anderson added, “and I’m looking forward to leading the side into the new County Championship season in April.”Croft added: “Jimmy is an outstanding leader whose influence on the squad is immense. ويتواجد محمد صلاح خلال الفترة الأخيرة على مقاعد بدلاء ليفربول، مما جعل الدولي المصري يصرح بغضبه الكبير من وضعه الحالي مع النادي الإنجليزي.
ويعتقد ميرفي في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة “ميرور”، أن محمد صلاح قد وضع ليفربول في موقف محرج بهذه التصريحات، موضحًا أن ابن الـ33 عامًا كان عليه التحدث مع إدارة النادي الإنجليزي حول وضعه الحالي بدلًا من الإدلاء بتصريحات أمام وسائل الإعلام.

وقال ميرفي: “نعلم أن هذه ردة فعل عاطفية لا تجدي نفعًا، على كل شخص أن يواصل الكفاح من أجل مكانه ومن أجل الوصول إلى مستوى معين، لا أعتقد أن محمد صلاح هو اللاعب الوحيد الذي يحدث معه ذلك، يتعرض العديد من اللاعبين الكبار الآخرين لانتقادات لاذعة وبعض الجماهير تلجأ إليهم، ويتعرضون للانتقاد”.
وأضاف: “هذا ليس صحيحًا، قد تشعر بالغضب وقد تشعر بالإحباط، وقد تكون عاطفيًا، لقد قدم محمد صلاح أشياء رائعة للنادي وعليك أن تبقي الأمر سرًا داخل جدران النادي”.
وأوضح: “كان على محمد صلاح التحدث مع إدارة النادي، اطرق باب المدير الفني، اذهب وتحدث مع الرئيس التنفيذي أو أي شخص آخر قد تحتاج إليه، اذهب وانظر إلى الملاك وافعل ما عليك فعله، عبر عن إحباطك”.
واختتم ميرفي في تصريحاته عن محمد صلاح: “بفعله هذا يسبب مشكلة للمدير الفني والفريق ويجعل كل الأمور تدور حوله، لا يمكنك فعل ذلك سواء كنت توافق على استبعاده أم لا، لا يجب أن تتعامل مع الأمر بهذه الطريقة”.
